Bangkok, Thailand The Grand Palace near Wat Pho temple. It served as the official residence of the king of Thailand from the 18th century to the mid-20th century. This was an immensely tall structure, stunning in all aspects. Looks much better here.Read more

We’ve just returned from our two week trip to Thailand and Cambodia. It was a phenomenal trip; Angkor Wat was beyond words. Of course I took lots of photos which I hope have turned out successfully. We’ve been in Siem Reap for the past few days, enjoying the temples, the town, and the food. The contrast to Bangkok and Jakarta is astonishing.
