Seen tonight in a children’s play area in Ace Hardware, in a mall in Jakarta. #8, 9, and 10 are especially interesting.

every time we took judah to the naughty palace, i used to read that sign and ask the people working questions about the specifics of the rules such as "is mild stupidity considered severe enough to forbid to play with it?"
  • what's a "naughty palace"? sounds stripper-ish.
  • Brandon
@ Plis Deh - absolutely, that's why I offered you the link via twitter. ;)
  • hey, may we re-post this on our blog? it'll be a blast.

What i like to call my bedroom Emi, you sould come over some time, although i should tell you, the "don't stay too long in tubes" rule is not strongly enforced.

I'm LMAO. Thanks for posting, Brandon. Ian and I were talking last night about how that's one of the things that we miss the most about Asia! Oh, and is that in Artha Gading?
    How's Thailand so far?
  • Wow...the naughty palace doesn't seem very naughty at all.

I'm not sure what a "naughty palace" is, but it sounds like a fun place to visit for most adults that I know, myself included. The real question is who enforces these rules?
  • Uhm what's wrong here? Guns and Artillery? In a children's play area? The 'stupid disease' seems like it might be contagious. Thanks for the laughs.
  • Emi
you should submit this for the broken english pool in flickr.

what the hell is a naughty palace anyway?
  • What a cracker! At least they tried tho' :D
