Among all your works, this is probably the best I’ve seen.
My favorite, I mean. Maybe because it’s b&w and the angle is just purrfect
Well thank you. I was hoping people would like this one. Oddly, whenever I post photos on the blog, people rarely comment. When I put them on flickr, people are all over them. However, when I take the time to write a post, people are more receptive to dropping comments.
Are the photos of less interest?
I like this photo too. For obvious reasons! LoL!
keep up the good work dude!!!
I enjoy photography in general, so seing your posted works here increase the sparks I get when visiting. But I’m not sure why your photo posts aren’t commented as much as they are in flickr.
Perhaps because flickr is more widely known for photo works and is accessed by more (“photo fans”) crowd than it is your blog. Or, your blog readers expect to read your writings, but not specifically enjoy and comment on your photo works.
Indcoup – I’m sure you do. 😉
Thank you Ceplik, I’m glad that you enjoy the photos. I realize that flickr is a medium for images and this blog may be better suited towards words. I guess I was simply surprised that it was such a large difference, that’s all.
I’ll be a bit short on the blog writing this week as I catch up with work – related business. Thanks for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
I enjoy both your photos and your commentary, especially when you put them both together. This is a great shot, but please always remember to add some background or history to provide the backstory.
I guess this is your girl?
I’d love to add more of a story, Carl, and agree with you there – it usually adds interest to the image. However, what do you say about this one? Not much of a story in a posed shot. 😉 Or are you talking more of the specific EXIF data?
Yes, this is indeed my gorgeous girl, and I am a very lucky guy. 😉
This is absolutely too cool.
I’m wondering how you did this.
i like this one a lot too. i’m always curious about the stories behind nice pictures… but i think good pic should tell its own story.
indeed, you’re a lucky guy.
To tell or not to tell – if you really would like me to disclose the technique I will – just let me know.
